RIO RONALDO -WINS again at WINDSOR
Rio Ronaldo returned to the venue of his previous win and, despite the drop in trip to 5f, ran out a ready winner of the 3yo sprint handicap under jockey Pat Dobbs.
He jumped well from the stalls and tracked the leaders in the early stages. He was always travelling well and at the 2f pole he had the leaders in his sight. Fortunately a gap opened up on the rail and Rio Ronaldo was able to take advantage and win by half a length.
Rio Ronaldo is still a frame of a horse and we hope he will make up into a progressive 4 yo next year.
The photo shows the winning connections, The Castaways, which from left to right consists of:
Liz Hobson, Dennis Cooper, Chris Rogerson, John Hobson, Paul Arlotte, Gill East, Robert Cooper, Bill Rogerson, Denise Murphy, Ann Graham (hiding behind Denise),Peter Graham, Alan East and Michelle Arlotte.
