Hurricane Lady put her best foot forward today, despite the weather, at Leicester. There were a large number of withdrawals due to the heavy rain but this helped her chances and she won well. She settled in rear and showed a nice turn of foot up the straight. She is a very game filly and this will have taken a bit out of her so we will she how she is in a few days before deciding in her next race.
The photograph shows Hurricane Lady with her owners, Mario Borgatti and Stuart Moir, although the eagle-eyed viewer will notice it was taken at Sandown (I was not able to make it to Leicester!).
