La Fortunata a WINNER at Goodwood

La Fortunata ran an excellent race at Goodwood yesterday evening to record her first win of the season and the fifth of her career. She has been a bit unlucky this season twice coming second at Epsom and on both occasions getting beaten in the final 25 yards!
Yesterday everything went according to plan which is unusual in racing! We must give some praise to the jockey, Ryan Tate, who followed our instructions to the letter. We were impressed by the amount of homework he had done on the filly before riding her which is very pleasing to see and which helped keep the filly's head in front.
We have declared for Monday at at Epsom as she has come out of the race well. Unfortunately Ryan is banned and so we have Danny Brock on board who has won four of his last six races.
