Ashford island enjoyed his trip to the seaside yesterday where he was narrowly beaten by the head at Brighton. We thought he would like the track as it is undulating and would keep him interested in racing. He was travelling well and went to the front at the furlong pole but just got collared on the line.
He looks to have liked the idiosyncrasies of the track and we will look for a race back there with him.
