STREET ART- 2nd but what might have been!

Street Art was second at Kempton last week but we were all left wondering what might have been!
Our apprentice, Kevin Lundie, got SA into a great position from stall 12 managing to sit on the quarters of the leader after two furlongs and then following a relatively sedate pace kick for the winning line at the home turn with just under 3f to race. Kevin got first run and was 6 lengths clear but he was looking for danger over his left shoulder and the hot favourite was on his inside which he didn't see until late. SA was admittedly tiring in the last furlong but with more assistance from the saddle he might have held on. If we take out the winner then SA was 6 lengths clear of his next rival and so it was a good performance. However, we will never know what might have been!
