La Fortunata - A WINNER

La Fortunata won the 6f Conditions race at Newmarket this evening. She was given an excellent ride by apprentice jockey, Charles Bishop, who jumped her out and got a relatively easy lead. She had her ears pricked for the first few furlongs and then got down to business. She galloped gamely up the hill and never looked like being caught.
The photograph below shows her owners and breeders, Jim and Pat Patton, and her lad James who must take some credit as he rides her most of the time at home.

Ducal a triple Winner

Ducal recorded his third win for the yard this year. Getting a handy position just behind the leaders Ducal was able to kick off the final bend. Unlike last time at Kempton he managed to hold on to the lead despite being hunted down in the final furlong. He won by a neck and a neck and the syndicate members and the team at home were thrilled with his third win for the yard.

Hurricane Lady 3rd Sandown

Hurricane Lady ran a fine race at Sandown on thursday evening under Kieran Fallon. She broke well and was always in the first three. However the winner, Spas Dancer, loves the soft ground and was always travelling well. Hurricane Lady has come out of the race well and we will look for another opportunity in two to three weeks time.
The photograph shows Hurricane Lady with her owners Mario Botgatti on the left and Stuart Moir on the right. Hugo, her lad, is holding the horse.
