STREET ART - A WINNER at Kempton

Street Art broke his maiden at Kempton on the 4th November by the narrow margin of a short head. The horse was given a great ride by his jockey,Ted Durcan, who hunted him around the back and then made a decisive move at the cutaway sending the horse three lengths clear. However, this lead was fast diminishing as Azure Amour was cutting it down with every stride and he was unlucky to finish second as he was stopped in his move around the final bend but that is horseracing. It was great to see the horse win although it was not a great race as evidenced by the stats with the 9 runners contesting having 68 previous runs with only 1 win and 6 places to show for it.
Street Art is a fine looking horse with scope and we hope he might find another race in him but it will be difficult to find another "soft" option but that is half the pleasure of planning races for all of our horses.
The photo, although a bit blurred due to the lights and the camera man, shows Street Art in the Winner's Enclosure with his owner, Denise, and lass, Heidi.
