STREET ART - A WINNER at Chelmsford
Street Art finally managed to get his head in front at Chelmsford under a fine ride from Hollie Doyle. Street art had been unlucky on a couple of occasions this year when leading and getting mowed down close to home. However, tonight he was once again sent to the front but this time he managed to hold on despite the advances of the second in the final 50 yards.
Hollie deserves a special mention as a horse was slow away but she managed to get him to the front without using up too much petrol. He looked the winner 2 furlongs out but then got a bit tired in the final furlong but held on gamely.
It was a low-grade handicap but it was a thrill to get our first winner on the board for the 2017 year.
