TITAN GODDESS WINS at Chelmsford
Titan Goddess doubled her win total yesterday with a success at Chelmsford. Stepping back a furlong to 7f she found the pace a little too quick and was niggled along by her rider, Kevin Lundie, to hold a position in midfield. Once they turned for home she was able to thread her way through her rivals and galloped on powerfully all the way to the line.
This was an excellent performance from the filly who has always shown a very willing attitude but has not always had the rub of the green. Credit must go to her rider who rides her regularly at home and who was adamant she had enough pace for the 7f trip. Being by Equiano out of a Grand Lodge mare her trip could have been anything from 6f to 10f but we believe she is best at between 7f and 8f. Her greatest attribute is her willingness to race and she is a joy to train.
The photo shows Titan Goddess returning from her race to be greeted by her delighted owners who are collectively known as Phoebe's Friends.
