ZAMPERINI - 3rd at Wolverhampton

Zamperini recorded his first placed position of 2018 with a 3rd placed spot on Friday night at Wolverhampton. Zamperini has not had his ground this year on the turf and so we switched back to the AW and the scene of his maiden win. He travelled well for most of the race and he was travelling best of all some 2f out. His jockey, Nicola Currei, sent him for home and he just got a little tired in the final half furlong and was beaten a length. As the Racing Post stated "He ran a blinder"  and hopefully we can find a race back on turf before the end of the turf season.
